French import Jacques Malignon was first hired by Mademoiselle magazine for a fashion spread in Paris. Seizing the opportunity to come to America, he hand delivered the images himself to the magazine’s headquarters in New York City. Since that day, he never looked back. Staying stateside, his career took off where he continued to put his vision to print for magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, Glamour, Seventeen, New York Times Magazine as well as countless covers and spreads for international magazines. His advertising work covers a variety of clientele from cosmetics and fashion to lifestyle campaigns, constantly putting his stamp of beauty and joie de vivre on each project. Jacques’ longevity in the industry speaks for itself and he prides himself on always getting the job at hand done, and done well. Whether shooting an advertising campaign, a magazine cover, a celebrity or family portrait, Jacques enjoys the creative collaboration of a team and is happiest with a camera in his hand.
